West Hollywood DUI Checkpoint

Watch yourself in West Hollywood tonight. There will be a DUI Checkpoint somewhere within city limits. The exact location for the DUI Checkpoint has not be identified, but we will update this post if we find one. The checkpoint will happen from 7pm tonight, Friday, January 16, and will be wrapped up tomorrow morning at 3am. If you happen upon this DUI Checkpoint please do not try and turn around to avoid it. You may just be trying to save yourself the time, but officers will be placed throughout the area to try and stop any drivers who may be trying to flee the checkpoint.

DUI checkpoints in the state of California are legal, and have proven to be an excellent tool for putting a stop to drunk driving. Under the terms of the laws for these checkpoints, it is required that the location and time be posted for the public to see. Be safe this weekend, and make sure you do not drink and drive.
