St. Patrick’s Day DUI Checkpoints

Officials are warning people celebrating St. Patrick’s Day to drink responsibly and not drink and drive.

There will be two rolling DUI patrol cars in Palmdale and Malibu. There will be two checkpoints in Bellflower and Pico Rivera between 7 p.m. and 3 a.m. Police have not disclosed the exact locations of these checkpoints.

Los Angeles – DUI/License Checkpoint at Spring Street and 7th Street from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m.

Los Angeles – DUI/License Checkpoint at Highland Ave. and DeLongpre Ave. from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m.

Los Angeles – DUI Saturation Patrol in 77th Street Area from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.

North Hollywood – DUI Saturation Patrol in NoHo from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Remember to drink responsibly and to utilize your local rideshare and cab services. Lyft will offer a free ride credit to anyone who is paired with a driver named Patrick, Pat, Patty or Patricia on St. Patrick’s Day.
