• If you haven’t already, obtain a P-249 form from the DMV at 860-263-5720 or email suspension@ct.gov.
• Next, email your completed form to removals@smartstartinc.com or fax to 972-929-6638 with the subject line: CT Removal – Full Name & DOB (Date of Birth)
• Finally, please allow our team two business days to process your submission. We will help you schedule a removal appointment right away!

Once you arrive at the Smart Start service center, our technicians will remove the Ignition Interlock. Then you’re done!
