Los Angeles County DUI Checkpoint

There will be a checkpoint this evening in the city of Van Nuys. The checkpoint will take place at the Sepulveda Blvd and Raymer Street intersection. Beginning at 8pm and continuing through 1am, we encourage all residents to avoid any potential DUI by not drinking and driving. If you think you have had too much to drink you are better off finding a safe ride home like taking a taxi or using an Uber to get you home safely. Even just one drink is enough to lower your reaction times and cause you to make a terrible mistake.

Avoid these mistakes, and the potential expensive repercussions, and plan ahead. Make sure you have a designated driver, or you are using a taxi to get to and from your destination just to be safe. If you are arrested for a DUI you run the risk of facing thousands and thousands of dollars in financial penalties, not to mention the suspended license that also could accompany your decision to drive drunk.
