To apply for the Impaired Driver Accountability Program (IDAP) in Oklahoma, you can follow these steps:
- Fill out and submit the Oklahoma Board of Tests IDAP Application. You can do this online, through the mail, or in-person.
- Pay the $150 program enrollment fee.
- Contact Smart Start to schedule an appointment to have an Ignition Interlock Device installed in your vehicle.
Once the Ignition Interlock Device is installed, return to the Oklahoma Board of Tests (online or in person) and submit your completed application and payment on the Oklahoma BOT IDAP enrollment page.
Once your application and enrollment are processed, you will be issued a BOT IDAP Participant Card. You will need to carry this card with you at all times when driving.

Here are some additional things to keep in mind:
- You must be eligible for IDAP in order to apply. To be eligible, you must:
- Have been arrested for DUI on or after November 1, 2022.
- Have a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
- Not be currently enrolled in another DUI treatment program.
