There will be a DUI checkpoint in Redondo Beach in response to those celebrating Cinco de Mayo. If you are celebrating Cinco de Mayo in Redondo Beach you should be especialyl cautious around Pacific Coast Highway and Avenue D.

The checkpoint does not have any set times, but if you are drinking in Redondo Beach you should be careful through this area. Your safest bet will be to designate a driver for the evening. If you cannot designate a driver than use a taxi, Uber or Lyft. These options will all be less expensive than if you were to receive a DUI if you drink and drive.
