If you are under 21-years-old and your BAC was between .02 and .08 at time of arrest, you’ll need an Ignition Interlock for 330 days.
If you do need an Ignition Interlock for 10 years, you can petition the court after five years of your requirement period to remove the Ignition Interlock.
A driver is only eligible for a six-month Ignition Interlock restriction in Kansas under these circumstances with a first offense and a BAC between .08 to .14.

- Vehicle battery with DUI convictions
- Chemical test refusal convictions
- Cannot have any major convictions, prior suspensions, revocations or cancellations, or an accumulation of three moving violations on separate occasions within a 12-month period
