Alcoho-Lock, the newest form of protection from a potential DUI, operates similarly to an ignition interlock device. The operator must blow into the device, and when the sample comes back clean the user can start the vehicle, or in this case it unlocks the bike. Because the device needs to be blown into before it can be unlocked, it may not be the optimal bike lock for all day use, but it would be a great reminder of your inebriation at the end of a Sunday Funday.

The Alcoho-Lock is a little varied from your traditional ignition interlock device, because you can hook it up to a Smart Phone. Once your device is connected to a smart phone it will alert that phone when you tried to unlock the bike lock, but failed because you are too intoxicated. The smart phone then has the ability to unlock your device. The idea behind this is it will be connected to a friends phone, and that friend will come pick you up and you will be able to take you bike with you.
